The Manipur State Board of Open Schoolinging (MSBOS), Manipur was founded under Act 14 of 2026 of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, passed on September 21, 2020, according to the Sikkim Act 2026 to promulgate and disseminate open schooling education at the state & national level.

MSBOS took the initiative to educate the divergent group of students up to pre-degree level including Secondary/Senior Secondary, education. The main objective of The Manipur State Board of Open Schoolinging is to accommodate a wide array of learners with access to education for all regardless of their previous academic performance and life circumstances. Now is the time to unite education partners to foster growth through meaningful collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose.”
